Clearly Explain Their Role
The team at Adams Sales Group isn’t just some third-party sales group a business hires to handle sales. This team integrates with their partners’ teams and works with them to fully understand the unique challenges they face each day. They work closely with contractors, architectural firms, design agencies, lumber yards, and more. Making this clear and stating it simply was a must.
Introduce the Team
Helping put faces to names was a priority. The Adams Sales Group team does a lot of work over the phone, video chat, and email. A nice icebreaker on any website (especially when it comes to a team you might not get much face time with) is always a good idea. The “Our Team” page helps introduce each team member and includes their role, territory, and a fun fact or two about them.
Technical Stuff
Prioritize the User Experience
The user experience is always a priority, but the specific needs here were related to encouraging users to explore other services Adams Sales Group offers that they may not have otherwise known about. For example, when we think of a sales team in the building industry, we might not think about the potential design services they offer. Adams has robust design services featured more prominently on the new site. This and other clear calls-to-action help users find what they’re looking for and encourage them to learn more about the company.
Go Hard in the SEO
Extensive keyword research was done to fully understand how potential customers are searching for businesses like Adams Sales Group, but that’s not where our content strategy ended, of course. We also had in-depth conversations with our awesome contact, partner and sales rep, Mandy Manning, about things like who their partners and customers are, what their sales process looks like, and more. Just as Adams Sales Group works closely with their clients, we worked closely with Adams Sales Group so the content we provided had their voice.
